AECAS is a capacitive level switch for conductive or non-conductive liquids, powders, adhesive media and acidic or alkaline liquids. Material between the electrode rod and tank wall changes the capacitance; a contact output is activated when the configured threshold is exceeded.

Cooling versions are available for high-temperature and high-pressure processes. The switching point and relay range can be calibrated under operating conditions. Horizontal or vertical installation is possible. Applications include process and storage tanks, food machinery, wastewater, grain and cement silos, powders, granules and viscous chemical liquids.
