Changes in liquid level move the float up and down. A microswitch inside the housing changes contact state with the float position. Normally open or normally closed wiring can provide signals to pumps, solenoid valves, alarms and indicator lamps.

Installation: mount the C-4 horizontally on the tank wall. A neck flange can be used for easier removal and installation. For high- and low-level contacts, observe the direction of the arrow on the flange.

Applications: pressurised and unpressurised vessels, fresh-water tanks, wastewater tanks, fuel tanks, steam generators, booster systems, water treatment and steam boilers.
