The condensate contamination monitoring system continuously measures electrical conductivity at the condensate-tank inlet. Contamination from a leaking heat exchanger can raise conductivity and affect boiler-water quality.

The controller compares the measurement with the configured limit. Above the limit, the discharge valve diverts condensate away from the recovery tank; when conductivity returns to the acceptable range, the recovery path reopens. The probe also measures temperature so that the conductivity measurement can be compensated correctly.
