The Ayvaz ELK 4 / ELK 4F compact level electrode works on the conductivity measurement principle. Four contact points in conductive liquids provide high-level alarm, low-level alarm, pump start and pump stop functions.

All control functions are incorporated in the enclosure, without an additional external controller. A specially designed finned cooling tube provides thermal isolation. Low and high alarms and start/stop status can be monitored on the enclosure cover.

The minimum conductivity of the liquid must be checked for reliable operation. The system distinguishes an immersed electrode from an exposed electrode and detects whether the switching point has been reached. Before installation, the electrode rods must be cut to the required contact levels for alarms or pump/valve control.

Connections: flanged or threaded. Maximum pressure: 32 bar. Maximum operating temperature: 238 °C. Applications: steam boilers, feedwater tanks and chemical processes.
