The Ayvaz flood detector senses water leaks in homes, offices, equipment rooms and storage areas. It operates from a 9 V alkaline battery and provides NO/NC relay contacts. The output can be connected to an alarm panel or a suitable solenoid-valve control circuit, while a siren and LED provide local warning.

Mount the main unit above floor level and attach the probe at floor level. Test the sensor with a damp cloth: with the switch ON, the LED and siren should operate. Switching OFF silences the siren; the LED remains on until the probe is dry. Leave the switch ON for normal use.

The stated battery standby life is two years. Inspect and replace the battery after prolonged alarm operation, up to seven hours according to the catalogue. Follow the product manual for wiring and maintenance.
