The KP2W capacitive level electrode provides continuous level measurement in conductive and non-conductive liquids. Its integrated transmitter delivers a standard two-wire 4–20 mA output.

The insulated electrode and tank wall form a capacitor whose capacitance changes with liquid level. A homogeneous medium and correct low/high-point calibration are important for measurement. The design has no moving parts and is available for high-temperature and high-pressure service. Applications include boilers, fuel and process tanks, marine systems, glycol, coolant, brine, water, oil and viscous chemical liquids.
